| You had to wring it out then. When I did my TT swap and was stage IV+ you could still give it 100% once I got 10's in back with good tires. But, with stock turbos, ICs, pipes and NA turbos and cams the power really fell off up top. With the GT675RS and breather mods with 5-spd cams power doesn't fall off. With brand new 275 Pilot Super Sports it would *just* hold WOT to reline in 2nd. Even then maybe breaking free right at the top. That's with 15.25 psig boost and 463 rwhp. Once I got a few thousand miles on the PSS's I could break them free in 2nd, even on a hot summer day. When it was cooler out I could break free in 3rd on the interstate in the early AM when rolling into WOT in 3rd, not snap downshfting from 4th. But yes, most of the time you don't even need to downshift, just dip into the gas and you are flying. And definitely when I was choked down at stage IV+ she was quicker if I short shifted and went to a lower gear in the meat of the torque band rather than winding the rpms out as power fell off. I think RL TC would be an awesome addition.
